A 1-Day Fiction Writing Workshop
Saturday, May 3, 10 AM - 2 PM
Why do some characters leap off the page while others just sit there, collecting dust? In this workshop, we’ll explore the mechanisms of characterization, and study the work of masters such as Joyce Carol Oates, Lorrie Moore, Jane Austen, Toni Morrison, and others. We'll also use an in-class exercise to bring the lessons home, and create characters with complexity and depth.
$100 Members/$145 Nonmembers
